Mushroom Spinach Bow Tie Pasta

Ingredients

1 Box bow tie pasta uncooked

3 Tbsp olive oil

3 cloves minced garlic

2 cups sliced mushrooms

2 cups fresh spinach, stems and removed

1/2 cup vegetable broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1tsp red chili pepper

cracked salt and pepper

1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

 

Instructions

1. While preheating tablet, place inner pot on tablet and fill 1/2 way with water and cover with lid.

2. Bring water to a boil approximately 10-15 min add box of Bow Tie pasta and stir.

3.Add smaller inner pot on top of pasta cooking and add olive oil and garlic cover with lid and let cook remaining 15 min of preheating time.

4.Remove lid and add remaining ingredients except cheese to smaller pot and stir.

5.Transfer heated tablet to Rockpot and place large inner pot with water and pasta inside and then place smaller pot with all ingredients except cheese, do not use inner lid and close Rockpot and let cook for 2 hours.

6. Remove smaller inner pot and drain water from pasta and add contents of smaller pot into pot with pasta and stir, top with parmesan cheese, stir and serve.

Serves 4-6 Enjoy!

Heating the RockTablet on stovetop:

Place RockTablet on the largest burner. Place inner pot on top of the RockTablet.
Turn the heat on high. Heat the RockTablet for 30 minutes with inner pot sitting on the stone. After 30 minutes, turn off heat, remove inner pot from stone.
Place HOT RockTablet in the bottom of the RockPot. Put the inner cooking pot (full of hot food) in the RockPot on the hot stone. Close the RockPot and latch the lid.
