Hawaiian Chicken BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients

6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts 

Non stick cooking spray

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup favorite BBQ sauce

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp minced garlic

Cole Slaw dressing -

1 cup mayonnaise 

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/3 cup sugar or sweetener of choice

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp garlic chili sauce

3 cups shredded cabbage mix

6 Rolls of choice

 

Instructions 

1. Spray inner pot with non stick cooking spray and place inner pot on tablet while preheating for 30 min.

2. Place your chicken inside inner pot while preheating.

3. In a bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, bbq sauce, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic salt and minced garlic and whisk together until combined. 

4. Pour mixture over chicken breasts and cover with inner pot lid and let cook until tablet is preheated .

5. Place tablet inside Rockpot when preheated and insert inner pot with inner lid and close Rockpot.

6. Let cook for 4 hours .

7. Remove chicken and shred apart, then add chicken back into sauce.

8. Mix coleslaw ingredients together.

9. Construct sandwiches with chicken first, then slaw then drizzle bbq sauce on top.

10. Serves 6 Enjoy!

 

Heating the RockTablet on stovetop:

Place RockTablet on the largest burner. Place inner pot on top of the RockTablet.
Turn the heat on high. Heat the RockTablet for 30 minutes with inner pot sitting on the stone. After 30 minutes, turn off heat, remove inner pot from stone.
Place HOT RockTablet in the bottom of the RockPot. Put the inner cooking pot (full of hot food) in the RockPot on the hot stone. Close the RockPot and latch the lid.
